New publication: Latent variable scoring of the PHQ-9
In 2019 I stayed at McGill University in Montreal over the summer at Brett Thombs' Research Group and in particular the DEPRESSD project - a large scale initiative to gather as much raw data as possible from diagnostic studies of some of the most popular depression screening tools. I investigated whether latent variable scoring would show a better diagnostic performance compared to the commonly used sum score.
It doesn’t - find the publication here!
Thanks go out to the DEPRESSD team for hosting me, the DFG for paying the bills, and the Charité/FU-Berlin libraries for Open Access publication!
