I am a psychologist working on the measurement of health from a patients’ perspective. Here, it is important to measure health accurately, comprehensively, and with as little respondent burden as possible. To achive these goals, I use methods of item-response theory, in particular computer-adaptive testing. I am also developing and applying methods to standardize health measurements, foremost across languages and using different instruments.
